Hardness Requirements:
• Brinell, Vickers or Rockwell hardness tests shall
• Samples made from two test tubes of each batch.

• Flattening Test - One flattening test shall be performed on specimens from each end of the finished tubes of each batch, not the specimens used for flaring test.

• Flaring Test - One flaring test shall be carried out on samples from each end of finished tubes of each batch, not the tubes used for fattening test.

• Mechanical property requirements are not applicable to pipes with inner diameter less than /8 inch [3.2 mm] or thickness less than 0.015 inch [0.4 mm].
